MYPATH

A New Beginning

Fitness once defined me. Growing up, I lived for cross country and track, later tackling half marathons and chasing personal bests. The rhythm of training — discipline, progress, control — felt like home.


But in 2010, a knee injury and surgery stopped me cold. For over a decade, I drifted, caught in a cycle of stress and unhealthy habits — late nights, poor choices, and heavy drinking. I told myself I was coping, but I was slipping further from who I wanted to be.


In April 2022, I hit rock bottom — physically drained, mentally foggy, and carrying weight that felt unsustainable. That day, I chose to rebuild — for myself, my wife, and my kids. A single walk sparked a new beginning.

Fueling with Intention

That moment ignited FuelPath. I learned to nourish my body with purpose, choosing balanced meals and consistency over quick fixes. By mid-2023, I was 60 pounds lighter, stronger, and energized — not through deprivation, but through steady choices.

Rediscovering Movement

As my health improved, my love for running returned. I started slowly, rebuilding my strength and form. In April 2024, I ran my first race in over a decade — a local 5K — crossing the finish line 25th out of 735 runners. That moment felt like reclaiming a piece of myself. It inspired RunPath, a guide to movement as therapy, not just performance. 

Building Strength

When a foot injury sidelined me in late 2024, I turned to strength training — simple, sustainable workouts at home. This became TrainPath, focused on function and longevity over aesthetics.

Embracing Recovery

Recovery taught me to listen to my body. Yoga, mobility, and better sleep formed the core of RestPath, showing me that healing happens when we pause with purpose.

Transforming Mindset

In October 2023, I made a pivotal choice to let go of alcohol, embracing a clearer life to support my health and family. Since then, I’ve learned that small, intentional shifts build lasting change. This is the essence of ShiftPath.

Strengthening Bonds

This journey did more than transform my health — it deepened my relationships. As I grew more intentional, my communication became more open, my presence more genuine. My marriage grew stronger, rooted in vulnerability and shared purpose. This inspired Path.fit’s community focus, helping you connect through wellness.
